IHAWKES is a network of postgraduate research students and early-career researchers at the Institute of Health and Wellbeing (IHW), University of Glasgow. Our name, IHAWKES, is an acronym for Institute of Health and Wellbeing Knowledge Exchange Students.
This blog broadcasts the research being conducted by members of IHAWKES. It is here that you will be able to find out about the new and exciting research taking place within the institute.
We will be publishing articles covering Current Research, Methodological Challenges and Health-related current affairs. We also have a section in which we interview professors and lectures in the field [profcast].
We hope to promote engagement with the research our members are conducting by publishing articles that are interesting and relevant to current affairs.
If you are interested in becoming a contributor we would love to hear from you. Additionally we welcome guest contributions from individuals in Glasgow and beyond so please get in touch with us if you have an idea for a blog post. You can contact Lauren Gatting at: l.gatting.1@research.gla.ac.uk
